Mrs. Jane Jackson Rites Held Today N Funeral services for Mrs. Jane Jackson, 85, of 228 Massachusetts, Bemis. were held this afternoon al Bemis. Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. H. V. Sparks. Burial, with Smith Funeral Home in charge, was in Concord cemetery in Hardeman County. Mrs. Jackson died Sunday morning morning at her home, after a two-year-illness. two-year-illness. two-year-illness. two-year-illness. two-year-illness. She was born and reared in Madison County in the Deanburg Community, the daughter of the late Henry and Fannie Mills Savage. Savage. She had made her home in Bemis for the past 42 years. She was a member of the Concord Concord Methodist Church. Her husband, Robert Jackson, died several years ago. .Survivors include a son, Levi Jackson of Nashville; six daughters. daughters. Mrs. Lillie Barge'H with whom she made her home in Bemis; Mrs. Allie Ragan of Med-on, Med-on, Med-on, Mrs. Gracie Key of Jackson; Mrs. Nora Maroney of Bemis, Mrs. Lizzie Ragan of St. Louis. Mrs. Ruth Bodenschatz of St. Louis; 33 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great great-great great-great grandchild.- grandchild.- grandchild.- Pallbearers were William and Floyd Key. W. C. and Kelly Barg-er, Barg-er, Barg-er, and Lacy and Ted Ragan. First Aethodist Board To Hold Meet Tonight The Official Board of the First Methodist Church will meet at 7:30 o'clock tonight. Dr. John R. Thompson, chairman, chairman, urges all members to be present present in view of the fact that tonight's tonight's meeting is the last one of this conference year.
