Ella Crawford Turner, wife of Dick Turner, well known Mobile and Ohio Railroad man, died quite suddenly Friday evening at 6 o'clock at Colorado Springs where she had gone for a stay with her husband who was in a hospital there. The news of Mrs. Turner's death comes as a great shock to her many friends in Jackson. Mrs. Turner left Jackson about June 1 for Colorado and friends here were not aware of her illness.

She was born at Crainsville, near Bolivar, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Julius Crawford. Besides her husband. Mrs.

Turner is survived by a son, Richard ON ALL OUR 8-Inch, 10-Inch, 12-Inch and 16-Inch Twelve real estate transfers involving the sum of $8,600 were recorded last week at the office of J. L. Elks, according to reports on Saturday. The outing set for Thursday afternoon is the annual outdoor celebration of the lodge and is always attended by a large number of the members. The Elks Grove is located on the Hart's Bridge road, southeast of the city.
