Federal investigators and San Francisco police officers combed the Nob Hill area for about 90 minutes before the device was located, the FBI said. The NWLF has claimed to be responsible for numerous bombing attacks in recent years in the Bay area, including the bombing Monday of a Pacific Gas Electric Co. substation in Sausalito that knocked out power in 6,300 homes. No injuries were reported in that incident. On Tuesday night, an underground explosion knocked out power for over an hour in the Fisherman's Wharf area.

Burial will be in Hope Well Cemetery. Mr. Capps died Wednesday morning at Volunteer General Hospital in Martin after a long illness. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the First Baptist Church in Gleason. He leaves his widow, Mrs.

Edna Capps of Gleason; a daughter, Mrs. Rhonda Capps of Gleason; a son, Roney Capps of Gleason; two sisters, Mrs. Obie Swindel of Greenfield and Mrs. Faye White of Bradford; and two brothers, Helon Capps of Greenfield and Doyle Capps of Gleason. Middleton LEXINGTON Services for Mrs.

Ola Mad Wood Middleton, 62, will be at 11 a.m. at Sand fiidge Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Hopper and the Rev. Bobby Beecham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Pafford Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Middleton died Wednesday afternoon at Lexington-Henderson County Hospital after a long illness. She was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church. She leaves a son, Robert David Middleton of Lexington; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Viola Brittian and Mrs.

Bessie Robinson, 77, of Britton Lane Community, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Maple Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. William Boyer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Robinson died Thursday morning at Parkway Hospital after a long illness. She was a member of Maple Springs Baptist Church. She leaves a son, Larry Robinson of Jackson; four brothers, Raney Upton of Arizona, Pope Upton of Clove rport, C.L. Upton of Medon and Bill Upton of Pensacola, three sisters, Mrs.

Mr. Wigal died Wednesday unexpectedly at his office. He was born in Parks-burg, W.Va. and was an honor graduate from the University of Virginia. Before moving to Jackson, he was the international technical represena-tive for B.

F. Goodrich Company. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Jack Holland Sunday School Class, a member of. the Jackson Rotary Club and a member of the Jackson Golf and County Club. He leaves his widow, Mrs.
