By LOUIS ALLEN Sun Reporter DECATUR VI LLE The Decatur County Court Wednesday night approved a $350,000 bond issue to finance an addition to the Decatur County General Hospital Wednesday night.

The court also elected a school board member, revised the county's policy on accepting roads and appointed a committee to study reapportionment. The bond issue replaces a previous commitment for $250,000 which would have obligated most of the county's revenue sharing money for repayment. The new plan will spread costs over a longer period (15 years) and won't draw so heavily on revenue-sharing funds or cause the tax rate to rise, said County Judge Hardin Smith. The additional $100,000 is the hospital's share which will be repaid to the court on a monthly basis.
