Cloar, widow of Henry Cloar, died Saturday evening at the Shelby County Hospital in Memphis after a long illness. She was a native of Mississippi but had lived the past couple of years in Shelby County, Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Addie Culver of Potts Camp, and a brother, Jepp Bing of Waterford, Miss. Warner Madison STANTON Services for Warner Madison, 91, formerly of Stanton, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the St.

Matthew Missionary Baptist Church in Millington with the Rev. John Hopson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with the Peebles-Gilliam F. Jones Funeral Home in charge. Mr.

Madison, a retired farmer, died Sunday evening at the St. Joseph Hospital in Memphis after a long illness. He was a native of Stanton but had lived the past 31 years in Memphis. He was a member of the St. Matthew Church.

Among survivors are two cousins, John Richmond of Stanton and Harvey Richmond of Memphis. Friends may visit at the funeral home 9 a.m. 4 p.m. Friday. Herman Luttrell MIDDLETON Services for Herman Thelbert Luttrell, 55, were today at the Shackelford Funeral Home in Bolivar with minister John Sasser officiating.

Burial was in the New Hope Cemetery near Middleton. Mr. Luttrell, a general laborer, died early Monday morning at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Memphis after a short illness. He was a lifelong resident of Middleton and was a Korean War Army veteran. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs.

Delores Crump of Bolivar and Mrs. Debra Tomlinson of Guys; a son, Don Luttrell of Middleton; two sisters, Mrs. Louise Smith and Mrs. Marie Dukes, both of Memphis; three brothers, Lawrence Luttrell of Memphis and Elmore Luttrell and Billy Luttrell, both of Middleton; and three grandchildren. Lee Roy Beavers HORNSBY Services for Lee Roy Beavers, 61, formerly of Hornsby, were today at the Shackelford Funeral Home with the Rev.

Williams Barns officiating. Burial was in the Wyatt Ceemtery Hornsby. near. Beavers, a boilermaker for Du Pont in Memphis, died Sunday morning at his home in Memphis from an apparent heart attack. He was a native of Alcorn County, but had lived in Hornsby before moving to Memphis 30 years ago.

He was a member of the Tullahoma Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for about 20 years, and of Boilmakers union local No. 263. Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Mrs. Leeone Crawford Beavers; two sons, Roy L. Beavers of Texas, and Randy Beavers of Memphis; two sisters, Mrs.

William Farley of Town Creek, and Mrs. Carrie Howell of Bolivar; two brothers, Henry Beavers of Hickory Valley and James Beavers of Hornsby; and a grandson. Richard Short BROWNSVILLE Services for Richard Short will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. W.

R. Hill officiating. Burial will be in the Rosenwald Cemetery with the Rawls Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Short, a retired farmer and school bus driver, died Friday afternoon at the Haywood Park General Hospital after a long illness.

He was a native of Haywood County, a World War II veteran and a member of the Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Thelma Jones Short; his father, Orange Short of Brownsville; three brothers, Roosevelt Short of California and Oneal Short and J.C. Short, both of Columbus, Ohio; and four sisters, Mrs. Lonnie Jo Watkins of Brownsville, Mrs.

Albert Bobbitt and Ms. Birdie Short, both of St. Louis, and Mrs. Altha Jean Witherspoon of Columbus, Ohio. Mrs.

Frances Wall Smith Graveside services for Mrs. Frances Wall Smith, 85, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Hollywood Cemetery with the Rev. Ken Burnette officiating. The Griffin Funeral Home is in charge.

Mrs. Smith, widow of Carl P. Smith, died Monday afternoon at the Forest Cove Nursing Home after a long illness. She was born in Carroll County's Clarksburg community, daughter of the late Johnny H. and Livie Williams Wall.

She moved to Greenfield as a young woman and to Jackson in 1930. She was active in the insurance business for many years before retiring. Mrs. Smith was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are a son, Carl Vernon Smith of Jackson; a daughter, Mrs.

Helen Smith Hight of Jackson; a sister, Mrs. Johnny Lee Adams of Greenfield; seven grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be Charles McDowell, Ricky Thomas, Brad Thompson, Hill Hight, Howard Smith and Ray Hight. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5-9 p.m. today.

Rev. Thomas Lee Hollingsworth CAMDEN Services for the Rev. Thomas Lee Hollingsworth, 47, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Sandy Point General Baptist Church, with the Rev. Monroe Surratt Rev.

E. J. Baker officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery with the Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in charge. Rev.

Hollingsworth, a forklift operator for the Camden Castings died Monday morning at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital after a two-week illness. He was a native of Benton County, belonged to Masonic Lodge No. 288 in Hollow Rock and was an ordained General Baptist minister. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Verlie Hollingsworth, on May 4, 1980.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Irene Bargo Hollingsworth; two daughters, Mrs. Gina Craig and Mrs. Patricia Israel, both of Camden; a son, Thomas Lee Hollingsworth Jr. of Camden; his father and stepmother, Henry Lee and Helen Hollingsworth of Bruceton; six sisters, Mrs.

Mary Ann Taylor of Parsons, Mrs. Linda Frazee of Camden and Mrs. Vickie Rogers, Mrs. Alice Rogers, Mrs. Jo Ann Lowe and Mrs.

Carolyn McEwen, all of Bruceton; seven brothers, L. C. Hollingsworth of Camden and Henry Hollingsworth Bobby Hollingsworth, Leslie Hollingsworth, David Hollingsworth, James Hollingsworth and Raymond Hollingsworth, all of Bruceton; and a granddaughter, Miss Stephanie Hollingsworth of Camden. Ethel Clarabell Shelton, 87, were Monday at the Shackelford Funeral Home in Selmer with minister Malcolm George officiating. Burial will be in the Ramer Cemetery. Mrs. Shelton, a longtime seamstress, died Saturday morning at the home of her son, Willie Shelton, in Ramer after a long illness. She was a native of McNairy County, was a member of the Antioch Church of Christ in Ramer and was the widow of John Grover Shelton.

Besides her son, she leaves three other sons, Clay Shelton of Ramer, Leslie "Pete" Shelton of Leesburg, and Grover "Buck" Shelton of Norco, four daughters, Mrs. Mattie Whitaker of Mrs. Johnnie Rushing of Memphis, Mrs. Metra Anderson of Montevallo, and Mrs. Edith McClain of Guys; a brother, Grady Bell of Memphis; 32 grandchildren; and 44 great-grandchildren.

Willie E. Adams Services for Willie E. Adams, 90, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Lebanon Church in Hardin County with the Rev. Richard Lee Wakefield officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery with the Griffin Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Adams, a retired employee of the former Bemis Mill (now Tennessee Textiles), died Tuesday morning at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Hardin County, son of the late George W. and 1 Nancy Ann Johnson Adams, educated in county schools there, had lived on U.S.

45 in south Madison County for many years and was Baptist in belief. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Mary Virginia Adams, in 1972. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Amie Hanna of Jackson, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Michael G. Wakefield, Ricky Wakefield, Tim Wakefield, Danny Wells, James Wells, Mark Wells and William N. Chambers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6-9 p.m. today, Mrs.

Viola Anderson BELLS Services for Mrs. Viola Palmer Anderson, 68, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Fairview CME Church with the Rev. A. E.

Williamson officiating. Burial will be in the Bellview Cemetery with the Stephenson and Shaw Funeral Home of Jackson in charge. Mrs. Anderson, wife of Edward Anderson, died Thursday at the JacksonMadison County General Hospital after a long illness. She was a Crockett County native.

Also surviving are four sons, George E. Anderson of Corona, N.Y., Johnny 0. Anderson of Brenham, Texas, Clem L. Anderson of Baltimore, and Jerry W. Anderson of Fort Worth, Texas; three daughters, Mrs.

Ida M. Burrell of Somerset, N.J., Mrs. Linda C. Holmes of Corona, N.Y., and Ms. Wilma J.

Anderson of Bells; two sisters, Mrs. Johnnie Mary Nance of Ridgely and Ms. Jeanette Palmer of Grand Rapids, 15 grandchildren; and seven great -grandchildren. The body will be at the church from 11 a.m. Wednesday until time for services.

Gilford Gibson HUNTINGDON Services for Gilford Washington Gibson, 86, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. C. F. Carter and the Rev.

Robert Noles officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with the Dilday Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Gibson, a retired foreman for the state Department of Transportation, died Monday morning at the Baptist Hospital of Huntingdon after a short illness. He was a native of Carroll County and a member of the Bethel Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Irby of McKenzie; four sons, James Gibson of Glouston, Ohio, Harold Gibson and Gilford Gibson both of McKenzie, and David Gibson of Huntingdon; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a greatgreat-grandson. Lashlee, who died in 1958, was pronounced dead Monday afternoon at the Benton County General Hospital after a long illness. She was a native of Benton County and was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are a son, Malcolm Griggs Lashlee of Fishkill, N. a brother, Virgil Griggs of Camden; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Harold O'Bannon officiating. Burial was in the Oakwood Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Harrison, a retired employee of the Ben-Lee Motor Co. in Chicago, died Sunday night at the Gibson General Hospital in Trenton after a long illness.

He was a native of Dyer and had lived many years in Chicago and the past several years in Dyer. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Betty Harrison; a daughter, Miss Sherry Jean Harrison of Dyer; two sons, Rex Allen Harrison of Chicago and Johnnie Harrison of Dyer; two sisters, Mrs. F. J.

Markham and Mrs. W. W. Robinson, both of Dyer; and a brother, Alvin Harrison of Dyer. Mrs.

Stella Hollin Hammons BOLIVAR Services for Mrs. Stella Hollin Hammons, 81, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Woodbury (Tenn.) Funeral Home with minister Clyde Todd officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery there. The Shackelford Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Mrs. Hammons, a retired employee of the Western Mental Health Institute, died Monday morning at the Stone's River Hospital in Woodbury after along illness. She was a native of Cannon County, lived in Bolivar for many years and was Church of Christ in belief. Surviving are her husband, Samuel Berry Hammons, and two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Hollingsworth and Mrs.

Lester Gaither, both of Woodbury. Mrs. Effie Sasser Miller BOLIVAR Services for Mrs. Effie Sasser Miller, 77, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Shackelford Funeral Home with minister Lyndell Mitchell officiating.

Burial will be in the Bolivar Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Miller, a retired dietician, died Monday afternoon at the Community Hospital of Bolivar from an apparent heart attack. She was a Louisiana native, had lived 35 years in Memphis, was retired from The Quaker Oats Co. in Memphis as a dietician and had lived the past 10 years in Bolivar.

She was a member of the Bolivar Church of Christ. Surviving are her husband, Floyd Miller; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Gautier of Mrs. Edith Imogene Cox of Bolivar; two brothers, John W. Sasser of Middleton and James Vernon Sasser of California; and two grandchildren.

Randell Clark CEDAR GROVE- Services for Randell Clark, 21, will be at noon Thursday at the Littles Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. L. Harrison officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with the Williams Funeral Home of Paris in charge. Mr.

Clark, a Milan Army Ammunition Plant employee, was pronounced dead Saturday afternoon at the Baptist Hospital of Huntingdon from injuries suffered earlier in a tractor-motorcycle accident, a family spokesman told the funeral home. He was native of Henderson County and was a member of the Littles Grove Church. Surviving are his father, Aeolion Clark of Wildersville; his mother, Mrs. Mattie Carter of Milan; a sister, Miss Petina Clark of Wildersville; five brothers, Terry Carter and Milton Clark, both of Cedar Grove, Robin Carter of Milan and Pedro Clark and Timothy Clark, both of Wildersville; and his grandfather, Avie Carter of Champaign, Ill. The body will be at the church from 11 a.m.

Thursday until time for services. Walter Lee Hale Services for Walter Lee Hale, 67, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at George A. Smith and Sons' Main Street Chapel with the Rev. Paul Clark officiating.

Burial will be in the Highland Memorial Gardens. Mr. Hale, a retired conductor for the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad, died Monday evening at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Henderson County, son of the late Gilford and Mary Amanda Wyatt Hale, moved to Jackson as teen-ager, was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs.

Mozelle McAnnally Hale, in 1975. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Juana Marie Hale and Mrs. Lynn Cantrell, both of Jackson; a son, Mack Lee Hale of Jackson; a brother, Benny Hale of Knoxville; and four grandchildren. John Crawford John Crawford died Monday afternoon at the Gibson General Hospital. Other details were unavailable this morning.
