She was united in marriage to Jerry Lee Wheeler on October 8, 1966 in Madison, Indiana. She had resided in the Madison Community the past 39 years.

She was employed for the past 25 years as a psychiatric attendant at the Madison State Hospital. She was an avid reader, loved to share her favorite mysteries with her dear friends, she collected Polish pottery, angels, loved to travel overseas and especially enjoyed Paris, Austria and Germany. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Jerry L.
