I ley Averett HUNTINGDON Services for Iley P. Averett, 81, were Saturday at Huntingdon Church of Christ with Warder K. Novak officiating. Burial will be in Carroll County Memorial Gardens with Dilday Funeral Home in charge. Mr.

Averett, a retired farmer, died Thursday night at his home' after an apparent heart attack. He served in the Army, farmed many years in Kennett, and moved to Memphis in 1959 where he worked for Admiral Benbow Inn until retiring in 1970. He then moved to Huntingdon. Mr. Averett had been married 58 years to the former Ruth Presley, who survives.

He was a member of Huntingdon Church of Christ. Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Betty Shelly of Kennett, Mrs. Geneva Tidwell of Winter Haven, and Mrs. Bobby Rus-som of Springfield, Mo.
