and Mrs. Jack Peace of Henderson. Her grandparents are Nancy Peace, Henderson, and the late J.T. Peace, and Mary Lee Bishop, Bolivar, and the late Bryan Bishop. She is a 1984 graduate of Chester County High School and she attended Freed-Hardeman College, where she studied sports and fitness management.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rubel Deed of Fin-ley. His grandparents are Oleave Scott, Dyersburg, and the late Lubie Wyatt, and the late Mr. and Mrs.

Edd Dees of Finley. He is a graduate of Lambuth Jerri Adams, Chris Maxwell Jerri Sue Adams and Cecil Christopher Maxwell, both of Jackson, will marry at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 6 at R.E. Womack Chapel at Lambuth College.

Adams is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Austin Adams of Jackson. Her grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs.

Austin Adams of Gainesville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Scorfina of Paragould, Ark. She is a 1981 graduate of Jackson Central-Merry High School and a 1983 graduate of Jackson State Community College, where she received an associate's degree in marketing and management. She also attended Middle Tennessee State University, Union University and Jackson Area Vocational School.

She is a registered dental assistant for Dr. Robert Hopper and she works for West Side Cleaners. Maxwell is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Anderson Maxwell of Jackson.

His grandparents are Mrs. John Walter Christopher Sr. and her late husband and the late Mr. and Mrs. W.L.

Maxwell, all of Jackson. Emily Lowery, John Edwards Emily Jane Lowery and John Harris Edwards, both of Bells, will marry at 7 p.m. Aug. 12 at Walnut Hill Baptist Church near Bells. The bride is the daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. William Lowery of Bells. Her grandparents are Silas Redmond of Mayfield, and the late Era Redmond of Bells and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lowery of Alamo.

She is a 1984 Crockett County High School graduate and received an associate of science degree from Jackson State Community College. She works at Jackson General Hospital as a respiratory therapist. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe A.

Edwards Sr. of Bells. His grandparents are the late Dr. and Mrs. W.R.

Miller of Brownsville and the late Mr. and Norma Scott, Charles Gerrell II Norma Ruth Scott and Charles Gerrell II will marry at 2 p.m. Aug. 6 at First Baptist Church in Olive Branch, Miss. Scott is the daughter of the Rev.

and Mrs. P.J. Scott. Her grandparents are Mrs. Hollis Petty, Guntown, and her late husband, and Mr.

and Mrs. Pat Scott of New Albany, Miss. She is a 1984 graduate of Olive Branch High School and a 1988 graduate of Union University, where she received a bachelor of arts degree in music and elementary education. In college, she was a member of Proclamation vocal ensemble, the Union University Singers and chorus, the Student Teachers Education Association and the panhellenic council. She was also rush chairwoman and judicial chairwoman of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, secretary of Sigma Alpha Iota music sorority and a little sister of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.

Gerrell is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Clay Wilson of Medon. His grandparents are the late Mr.

and Mrs. Sam A. McMaster of Medon and the late Mr. and Mrs. Class will teach babysitting tips Prospective babysitters can learn basic child care during a babysitting class July 29 at the American Red Cross Office, 718 North Highland Ave.

Gilmer Jr. She is a 1985 Jackson Central-Merry High School graduate and will graduate in December from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, with a bachelor of science degree in human ecology.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Edward Whitaker of Jackson. His grandparents are Mrs. Robert T.

McKenzie of Jackson and her late Susan Allsop, David Atkinson Susan Jo Allsop of Murray, Ky.j will marry David Glenn Atkinson of Paducah, at 4 p.m. August 14 at Underwood United Methodist Church in Memphis. The bride is the daughter of Lloyd L. and Josephine B. Allsop of Memphis.

Her grandparents are Juanita Brady of Memphis, the late H.D. Brady, and the late William and Faye Allsop of Stew-ardson, 111. She is an Overton High School, Memphis, graduate. She earned a bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene from the Universi-. ty of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences and a master's degree in divinity from Memphis Theological Seminary.

She is the pastor of Lynn Grove Goshen United Methodist churches in Murray. The bridegroom is the son of Lucretia Jordan Atkinson of Halls Jina Jaco, Jeffrey Crain Jina Franice Jaco of Dyersburg will marry Jeffrey Allen Crain of St. Louis at 4 p.m. Aug. 6 at East Dyersburg Pentecostal Church.

The bride is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Harold Jaco Jr. of Dyersburg. Her grandparents are Margaret Jaco of Jackson, and the late Harold Jaco and Mr.

and Mrs. Johnnie Smithson of Sherman, Texas. She is a 1985 graduate of Dyersburg High School and a 1987 graduate of Dyersburg State Community College, where she received an associate's degree in business. She received an associate of arts degree in music from Gateway College of Evangelism in St. Louis in 1988.

In college, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor sorority and she was on the Dean's List: She works for Prudential Insurance of America in St. Louis as a claim examiner. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Crain.
