Curtis, postmaster of the Milan Post Office, died early Monday morning in the emergency room of the City of Milan Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was born in Savannah, February 14, 1941, son of Susie Byrd Curtis of Savannah, who survives and the late Frank Curtis, but had been living in Milan since 1977. He was a member of the Milan First United Methodist Church, where he served on the Official Board, was a member of-tlie Building Committee, the Bus Ministry and the Forum Sunday School Class. He was a member of the West Tennessee Emmaus Community. He was a U.

S. Postal Service employee with thirty-two years of service, with sixteen years of his tenure as postmaster In Milan. He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Alan Curtis, May 4, 1987. Surviving other than his mother are his wife, Mrs. Mickey Rice Curtis of Milan, a son, James Scot Curtis of Martin, a daughter, Mrs.

Connie Hockaday of Jackson and two brothers, Travis Curtis of Savannah and Ronnie Curtis of Pensacola, Fl. The family will receive friends after 5:30 p.m. this evening at the funeral 1 The family requests memorials be directed to the Mustard Seed, co First United Methodist Church, P.O. Mrs. Summers, a homemaker, died Sunday at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. She was married to the late Ernest Clifton Summers. They had a son, Randy R. Summers of Dresden.

He was married to Anna Mae Brundige. They had two children, Joyce Tuck and Debbie Mitchum, both of Martin. Royal Clayton Coffman Services for Royal Clayton Coffman, 78, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday- at George A. Smith and Sons' Main Street Chapel.

Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens. Mr. Coffman, a retired track driver for E.L. Morgan died Monday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He was married to Maudie B.

Coffman. They had two children, Brenda Cornelia Pipkin and Danny Clayton Coffman. For more information, call the funeral home at 427-5555. Agnes Hart Giilman Services for Mrs. Agnes Hart Giilman, 90, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m.

in the Chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home conducted by Rev. James Westbrook. Burial will follow'in Hollywood Cemetery. Mrs. Giilman, widow of the late Herman Giilman who preceded her in death in 1963, died early today in the Decatur County Hospital in Parsons following an extended illness.

She was born in Madison County, daughter of the late Silas and Virginia Mullins Hart and received her education in the county schools. Mrs. Gill-man worked for many years as a bookkeeper for the old Jewell Mainord Texaco Service Station and later for Baker's Exxon Service Station prior to her retirement. In 1978 she moved to Parsons to make her home with a niece, Mrs. Mildred Simpson.

Mrs. Gill-man was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her niece in Parsons, she is survived by several other nieces and nephews. Friends may visit with the family from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home 424-2424 Royal Clayton Coffman Services for Royal Clayton Coffman, 78, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Main Street Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Dr. Paul Clark officiat- ing. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Coffman died Monday at Jackson Madison County General Hospital after an extended illness. A native of Lexington, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Victor and Mattie Vera Martin Coffman and had made his home in Jackson most of his life. He was a retired truck driver for the E. L.

Morgan Company. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He leaves his wife, Maudie B. Coffman, a daughter, Brenda Cornelia Pipkin, a son, Danny Clayton Coffman all of Jackson, two sisters, Lara Gibson of Lexington and Christine Davis of Atlanta, two brothers, Martin Tracy Coffman of Jackson and Gilbert W. Coffman of Lexington, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, Casketbearers to serve will be Steve Hurt, Mark Blake, Tim Pipkin, Randy Coffman, Richard Smith and Mark Coffman.
