During the year, the girls go to Golden Circle gymnastics several times a week, but when the facility is closed during the holidays, she takes them skating instead, Morris says.

Morris also subscribes to the Disney Channel, so she doesn't have to rent videos. When a good movie comes on, she tapes it and her 4-year-old looks at it over and over, she says. Her 6-year-old, Amanda, likes to keep moving and plans to use movie tickets that she won to see Disney's "The Beauty and the Beast" again, she says. "My job never ends," Morris says. Johnson's life stays hectic when her kids are at home, too, she says.

"I have to do a lot more cleaning up and a lot more grocery shopping," she says. Kelley Valentine says her two children get antsy a week after Christmas. She may take them to the movies or skating. "I enjoy my kids being at home," Valentine says. "We just enjoy being together as a family." Vann Mosier of Humboldt says her 8-year-old daughter is always content with staying at home playing with her toys plus she gets to do things that are a little out of the ordinary.

She's visited elderly people and gone hunting with her father, Mosier says. "I enjoy it because I get to spend more time with her, and so does her father." Retirement party set for director Church. Allen Pinkney James Services for Allen Pinkney James, 86, will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Luke's Episcopal Chruch with Father Charles Filiatreau officiating. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery with Griffin Funeral Home in charge. Mr.

James died Wednesday morning at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born In Jackson, son of the late David Bernard and Lena Graham James and was educated in the local schools. He was a retired employee of the Martha White Food Company and was a self employed musician. He was a veteran of the Army Air Force participating In the Army Air Force band. Mr.

James was an active member of the St. Luke's Episcopal Church where he served as a Vestryman and for many years he was responsible for inscriptions in the St. Lukes's Memorial Guild Book of Remembrances. He was a member of the American Legion 12, the Elks Mr. James was a life member of the Federation of Jackson Musicians and was a noted local musician playing for various activities and events in Jackson and the surrounding area.

His family was the founder and for many years owned and operated James Shoe Hospital. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Eugenia James of Jackson; a son, David Allen James of Jackson; a daughter and son In-law Mrs. Lena James Stephenson and Edgar B. Stephenson, Jr.

of Cary, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Jennifer S. Brady of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina and Elizabeth Carol Stephenson of Cary, North Carolina. Active pallbearers will be William T. Mays, Johnnie T. Lane, Johnny C.

Gene was born October 9, 1925. He was the son of Gracie Barnett and the late Dr. Marion Barnett. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BA degree In Business Administration and had minored in Math and Psychology. While attending Vanderbilt he served as President for both Kappa and Alpha fraternities and the Honor Council.

He worked for Genesco in Nashville, TN until 1954 and moved to Lubbock, Texas to work for Time, Inc. as a Vice-President and National Sales Manager. In 1961 he moved to Dallas and began his career as a Sales Representative and Designer for Brown Shoe Company. He retired in 1983 and became a licensed Real Estate Agent. In 1967 Mr.

Barnett and his wife helped form the first Montessori School in Texas at the St. James Episopal Church. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Barnett, a daughter, Barbara Barnett of Phoenix, Arizona, his mother, Gracie Barnett, and a sister Mary Helen Gill both of Rutherford; several nieces and nephews which Include Mary Ann Gill of Memphis and Linda Holley of South Fulton, Tenn. Mrs. Huneycutt died on Wednesday morning December 25, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of the late Willard White and Annie Ruth Hale White, who survives. She had made her home in Jackson since 1964. Mrs.

Huneycutt, an honor graduate of Stetson University, also held the Master of Music Degree from Lousiana State University. She was Associate Professor of Music and Chair of the Communications and Fine Arts Department at Jackson State Community College. She was active In numerous civic and professional organizations, having served as President of the Jackson's Newcomers Club, Jackson Cotillion Club, Jackson Symphony League, Jackson Youth Orchestra Board, Jackson Central Merry Band Boosters, Highland Park Elementary School PTA, and the West Tennessee Music Teachers Association. She was the immediate past State President of the Tennesssee Music Teachers Association. Mrs.

Huneycutt served for many years as the Chairperson as the Jackson Symphony Concerto Competition which will now be given her name to honor her years of service. She also served on the board of the Jackson Guild, Ballet Arts, Jackson Community Concerts Association and was a past member of the Jackson Service League, the Music Advisory panel of the Tennessee Arts Commission and was a Fellow of the Tennessee Collaborative Academy. In 1976 she was the Madison County Jaycettes "Outstanding Young Woman of the Widely known as a performer, and accompanist and educator, she was recently honored as an outstanding teacher by the Tennessee Governor's School of the Arts. Survivors Include her husband, Dr. Don L.

Huneycutt, a daughter, Leah Kathryn Huneycutt and a son, Roger Aaron Huneycutt, all of Jackson, her mother, Mrs. Annie Ruth White, of Virginia Beach, VA; a sister, Wanda Kay Paluch of Nashville, TN and a brother, Willard E.
