Mrs. Bond, a retired. teacher, merchant and community activist, died Monday in Brownsville of injuries sustained in a car accident. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Bond. She is survived by three daughters, Nola Gray of Memphis, Rosa Walker of Queens, N.Y., and Buelah Hubbard of Kewanee, two sons, James Bond of Atlanta and Buel Cole of Decatur, and a sister, Cora Bond of Decatur, Ill.
